The spores from these cubensis mushrooms come from the magical country of Brazil. I've traveled to many places in Brazil and I can tell you it's an amazing country and it was subtropical almost everywhere we went. Lots of rain, lots of cattle or horses nearby and lots of mushrooms. Did I mention lots of beautiful people too? ;)

Everywhere we traveled I had my girlfriend of the time speak Portuguese and I was surprised to learn most Brazilians had some knowledge of mushrooms or knew someone who did. Probably because Brazil is the biggest beef exporter in South America and the spores to dung loving mushrooms are spread around easily on the hooves of cattle and horses. It was cubes we found or were guided to everywhere except on the most beautiful island I've ever been to, Fernando de Nerona, where we found Panaeolus Cyanescens shrooms. We only found a few and we ate them before I could find more and collect spores. Sometimes the excitement of mushroom hunting is a little overwhelming and I forget I’m also there on business to collect spores! The fungi kingdom and God’s beautiful earth that hosts it is a playground :)

Both of the Brazilian cubensis mushroom spores we carry are top shelf, but this one is our growers in Austria's top pick! In fact our grower thinks the Corumba cubensis is in the top 5 best cubensis!

I would first like to start off this review letting all who read this know what a wonderful experience it has been to work with Mushrooms.com. I had some problems early on when I had placed my order (technical problem not problem with this site). I e-mailed my issues and immediately got a response. After a few days and several e-mails back and forth they resolved my issue beyond what I thought was possible. The customer service at this site is second to none! Now on to the spores. I am new to mushrooms. I purchased these spores and to my delight I see they are all alive. I can not speak to these any further since I am still waiting. The spores came in the mail quickly! What a great experience it has been dealing with Mushrooms.com. THANK YOU!!!
